Incapacitants

Incapacitants began in Osaka in 1981 as a solo recording project by T. Mikawa and released "Eternal Paralysis", "Peony Crackers” and "Project Pallo 85" on Mikawa's independent label, Pariah Tapes. Although live performances were not initially planned, due to repeated requests, Incapacitants gave its first live performance on August 19, 1984, in Kyoto as a duo consisting of T. Mikawa and Takahiro Kuramoto (clarinet). The duo with Kuramoto was a one-time event; afterward, Mikawa performed live in Osaka as a duo with Eye Yamatsuka, but that partnership also dissolved when Mikawa moved to Tokyo. After moving to Tokyo, he teamed up with Fumio Kosakai as his partner. Since then, over a long period, they have released numerous works and performed live in various locations, including overseas.
